Developing the teaching of English
Why?
A good knowledge of English is a prerequisite to access a skilled job, whether in business or services. That is why teaching of English is provided in our preparatory classes as well as in all our schools for vocational training. It is crucial that learning of English is improved to better meet the needs of future employers of our youth.
The project
Strengthening the quality of our teaching of English:
- By developing manuals and methods of English for specific purposes (specialised vocabulary in hotel business, for example) and teaching material adapted to the Cambodian context and tailored to the specific needs of our students
- By conducting an advanced training programme for our Cambodian teachers. This activity is planned over three years.
